Here's a MediaCor tip... #801 - underlined or linked words appearing when editing with the Website Editor

Are you finding when you edit your site or blog post words are suddenly being turned into underlined links? The problem in most cases is an unwanted, unknown, and unintentionally installed add-on browser extension or plug-in.

If you’re finding this is happening to you go to your browser’s settings by typing in your browser’s address bar about:extensions (Chrome, Firefox) and disable any unknown extensions listed there. These extensions are constantly changing but a lot of times have to do with great coupons, special sales, gaming resources, etc. Next look for wayward plug-ins by typing in your address bar about:plug-ins (Chrome, Firefox) and look for any unknown plug-ins listed and disabled them. In some cases you’ll need to restart your browser but then all should be well again.
