Plans are billed once a year from the date you start. Domain registration is separate, at or near cost. Work beyond your plan is $65 an hour, and we agree on it before we start: things like new pages after setup, redesigns, custom features or loading a big product catalog.

One invoice a year, and your plan renews on the date you started, not every January. Extra work, if you ever need it, is quoted and agreed before we start.
Your domain, at or near cost. If you want a newsletter or automatic social sharing, those services bill you directly. Everything else is in your plan.
Essential is already priced for small budgets, so it's the same for everyone. Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits that need a store or memberships get Complete for $390 a year.
Yes, any time. You only pay the difference for the rest of your plan year, and your renewal date stays the same.
